About this position
We're looking for a creative and strategic Social Media Manager to lead our online presence across multiple platforms. You'll develop content that educates, inspires, and engages while building meaningful relationships with our growing community. You'll play a key role in shaping our brand voice, increasing awareness, and turning followers into active learners and advocates.
Responsibilities
Develop and execute a comprehensive social media strategy aligned with company goals.
Create, schedule, and publish engaging content across LinkedIn, X (Twitter), Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, and other relevant platforms.
Write compelling captions, stories, threads, and short-form content that reflects our brand voice.
Collaborate with designers, marketers, and product teams to launch campaigns and promote new features.
Manage community engagement by responding to comments, messages, and conversations promptly.
Monitor industry trends, viral content, and platform updates to identify new growth opportunities.
Track key performance metrics including reach, engagement, follower growth, and conversions.
Run experiments with different content formats and optimize based on performance insights.
Coordinate influencer, creator, and community partnerships when needed.
Maintain a consistent content calendar and ensure timely publishing.
Requirements
2+ years of experience managing social media accounts for a brand, startup, or organization.
Excellent writing, communication, and storytelling skills.
Strong understanding of major social media platforms and their best practices.
Experience creating engaging content that drives audience growth and engagement.
Ability to analyze metrics and make data-informed content decisions.
Excellent organizational and time management skills.
Comfort working independently in a remote environment.
Nice to have
Experience working with startups, creator communities, or educational brands.
Knowledge of Canva, Figma, Adobe Creative Suite, or similar design tools.
Experience with social media scheduling platforms like Buffer, Hootsuite, or Later.
Basic video editing skills for short-form content (CapCut, Premiere Pro, etc.).
Understanding of SEO, content marketing, and digital growth strategies.
Experience managing online communities on Discord, Slack, or similar platforms.
