• Unauthorized Access: Immediately report any suspicious activity, unauthorized access, or lost credentials to Freecolab ZW support.
• Single User Account: Accounts are intended for individual use only. Sharing or selling your account is strictly prohibited.

Liability: Freecolab ZW is not responsible for any loss, damage, or unauthorized activity resulting from your failure to protect your account or credentials. You acknowledge that maintaining your account security is solely your responsibility.

By using Freecolab ZW, you confirm that you will follow these guidelines, take reasonable steps to secure your account, and report any issues promptly. Failure to comply may result in restricted access or suspension of your account.

3. Prohibited Conduct

To maintain a safe, respectful, and academically honest environment, users of Freecolab ZW must follow these rules. The following conduct is strictly prohibited:

• Impersonation: Do not pretend to be another user, faculty, or staff member. Always use your real identity in interactions.

• Inappropriate content: Avoid sharing offensive, illegal, or non-academic content, including explicit images, pirated material, or content violating copyright.
• Disruption of platform functionality: Any attempt to interfere with the normal operation of Freecolab ZW, including exploiting bugs or launching attacks, is prohibited.

Freecolab ZW reserves the right to warn, suspend, or terminate accounts for violations of these rules. By using the platform, you agree to conduct yourself in a manner that supports a safe, productive, and academically honest environment.

4. User-Generated Content

Users retain ownership of any content they upload, submit, or share on Freecolab ZW. By contributing content, you grant Freecolab ZW a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to host, display, distribute, and share it strictly for educational and collaborative purposes within the platform.

To maintain a safe and academically honest environment, you agree to the following rules regarding content:

• Originality: Upload only content that is your own or that you have permission to use. Plagiarism and unauthorized use of others’ work are strictly prohibited.
• Appropriateness: Content must be suitable for an academic environment. Do not upload offensive, illegal, or explicit material.
• Respect and attribution: Give proper credit when sharing third-party resources, materials, or collaborative work.
• Accuracy: Ensure that factual and research-based content is presented accurately and responsibly.
• Privacy and consent: Do not post personal information about others without their consent.
• Compliance with platform rules: All content must adhere to Freecolab ZW’s Prohibited Conduct guidelines.

Freecolab ZW reserves the right to remove or restrict access to any content that violates these rules. By uploading content, you confirm that you have the rights to do so and agree to these guidelines, ensuring a safe, respectful, and academically productive community.

5. Subscriptions

Freecolab ZW will offer premium features through subscription plans. Subscriptions will billed in advance for the selected period (monthly, yearly, or as otherwise stated at purchase). By subscribing, you agree to pay the fees associated with your chosen plan.

• Billing: Payments will be charged automatically according to the subscription cycle unless cancelled beforehand.
• Cancellation: You may cancel your subscription at any time. Cancellation will prevent future charges but will not retroactively refund previously paid fees.
• Refunds: Refunds are discretionary and may be granted at the sole discretion of Freecolab ZW. Exceptional circumstances may be considered on a case-by-case basis.
• Account responsibility: You are responsible for maintaining accurate payment information and ensuring your account is secure.
• Changes to subscription: Freecolab ZW reserves the right to modify subscription plans, pricing, or features with notice to subscribers.

By subscribing, you confirm that you understand and agree to these terms, including billing, cancellation, and refund policies.

7. Governing Law and Jurisdiction

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Zimbabwe. By using Freecolab ZW, you agree to submit to the jurisdiction of Zimbabwean courts for any disputes arising from your use of the platform.

Any disputes, claims, or controversies related to these Terms, the platform, or its services shall be resolved exclusively in the courts located in Harare, Zimbabwe. You consent to personal jurisdiction in such courts and waive any objections based on venue or inconvenient forum.

• Dispute resolution: Parties are encouraged to attempt good-faith negotiations before initiating formal legal proceedings.
• Legal compliance: Users must comply with all applicable laws, regulations, and academic standards while using Freecolab ZW.
• Severability: If any provision of these Terms is found invalid under Zimbabwean law, the remaining provisions will continue to be enforceable.

By using Freecolab ZW, you acknowledge that you understand and agree to these governing law and jurisdiction terms, ensuring clarity on how disputes will be handled and under which legal framework.
